IP core makes embedded shortlist
RF Engines has been shortlisted in the 2006 Elektra European Electronic Awards.
RF Engines has been shortlisted in the 2006 Elektra European Electronic Awards in the "Embedded system innovation of the year" category RFEL won the "Startup of the year" award at the European Awards in 2003, and was also finalists in the "Research and development" award category in 2005

RF Engines has created a new way of simultaneously processing digital signals across a wide spectrum in real time.
The RF Engines product recognised at this year's event in Munich on 15th November is the ChannelCore64.
The product allows designers to replace up to 16 specialist DDC ASIC devices with a single IP core embedded in an FPGA.
RF Engines CEO John Summers said: "We're delighted to be shortlist again this year in what has become a very competitive and prestigious event".
"There are some other very impressive innovations being considered this year, and so to go on and win the category would be a tremendous achievement".
