Radio Frequency Investigation Ltd (RFI) has appointed Tony Henriques as a senior engineer in its Regulatory and Technical Support group (RATS).

Radio Frequency Investigation Ltd (RFI) has appointed Tony Henriques as a senior engineer in its Regulatory and Technical Support group (RATS).

The appointment is part of the group's expansion and will help meet the demand for consultancy and customer support as a result of the implementation of the recent R and TTE Directive.

No stranger to RFI, Tony worked as the Radio Type Approvals manager for almost ten years, before joining Teklogix Inc as European Regulatory Approvals manager.

He rejoins RFI where his excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with in-depth technical and compliance knowledge will assist him in his main responsibilities in advising clients on essential test suites for their products and the review of technical construction files.

Tony comments, "I am delighted to be back in this new role.

RFI's recent refocus and more global approach, together with the recent changes in directives make this an exciting and challenging time where the need for technical customer support has become more important than ever".

Tony's appointment coincides with other RATS developments including an enhanced Regulatory Information Service Web-site planned for the end of this month and RFI's application to become one of the first Competent and Notified Bodies in the UK accredited to EN 45004.
