Sendo has completed testing worth over £100k with Radio Frequency Investigation for full compliance and EMC testing of its latest dual-band mobile phones.

Sendo, one of the newest and fastest growing cellular phone manufacturers in the UK, has completed testing worth over £100k with Radio Frequency Investigation for full compliance and EMC testing of its latest dual-band mobile phones.

Precompliance tests were run in September, followed by two full compliance projects which are now complete.

Mike Roper, Sendo's senior approvals engineer commented: "We have used all three of RFI's test platforms.

We are particularly impressed by RFI's flexibility and commitment to helping us meet our aggressive deadlines.

RFI has completed a rigorous and intensive test programme to satisfy the requirements of the BABT CNC scheme in a small space of time frequently running tests overnight and at weekends to meet our deadlines".

Founded in August 1999 and based in Birmingham, Sendo has already launched its first product, the D800, with the second close behind.

The first product is a dual-band GSM phone, positioned at the top-end of the market for high use business customers.

At launch it will be one of the lightest (68g) and most highly specified phones in the world.

The second phone is targeted towards the consumer youth and prepaid markets and will set new standards in this sector.
