New SAR tester meets latest requirements
RFI has upgraded its SAR test platform to meet developing standards.
This offers users the benefit of a cordless headset without the need to purchase a new Bluetooth phone.
The SAR tests verified that the Logitech headset was far below both European and US limits for radio emissions.
Although SAR testing is not mandatory, Logitech is committed to providing safe products that exceed international standards.
Sharon Slattery of RFI commented, "RFI is pleased to have been chosen to complete international testing of the new Logitech mobile cordless headset.
It's an honour to be associated with a company for whom the user experience is based not only on innovative technology, but also on user wellbeing and safety.
In the case of the headset, the SAR level results were extremely low - less than 0.25% of the allowable level".
RFI is one of the leading providers of SAR test services and was the first laboratory in Europe to achieve ISO17025 for testing to EN50360, EN50361 and C95.3.
To meet developing standards RFI is to upgrade its Dasy3 Professional SAR test system to a Dasy4 from Swiss supplier Schmid and Partner.
Its release and delivery is imminent.
The Dasy4 system will enable RFI to offer customers an enhanced and more efficient service.
