Brown expands testing and regulatory
services
RFI Global Services has appointed Andrew Brown as Technical Services Manager to further expand its EMC, radio performance, microwave, Bluetooth and SAR testing and regulatory services.

Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) has been appointed as a Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA.
Brown joins RFI from Sun Microsystems where he was Compliance and Laboratory Support Manager for 7 years.
Prior to this he worked in compliance engineering product development and brings an in-depth understanding of what customers need from a test house.
Commenting on his appointment Brown said: "I am excited at the opportunity to take on RFI's classic services, and the opportunity of working with a dynamic team to bring a market leading service to the industry".

In the last month, RFI has significantly expanded its EMC test capacity in response to the 20% growth on last year.
In addition RFI has rolled out HyperLAN services and has seen an increase in the volume of Bluetooth qualification work.
