Cellular test investment continues
RFI Global Services is continuing its investment in test equipment for its cellular business, having taken delivery of two further protocol test systems in the first quarter of this year.
RFI Global Services is continuing its investment in test equipment for its cellular business, having taken delivery of two protocol test systems, worth a total of GBP 700,000, in the first quarter of this year The systems, from Anritsu and Rohde and Schwarz, enable RFI to extend the scope of testing into 3G and gives customers a choice of platform for GPRS testing (RFI already has an Anite GPRS SAT system)

Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) has been appointed as a Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA.

RFI has also increased test capacity by the addition of more highly skilled and dedicated engineers to its team and the use of automated methods wherever possible.
The facility has extended its operational hours to provide testing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help customers meet market demands and deliver their products on time.
RFI now offers in excess of 500 hours a week of manned test time allowing customers to bring their products to market faster.
