Accreditation is an intensive process and involves considerable investment.
Two UKAS auditors spent four days at the facility fully auditing RFI's systems, processes and procedures encompassing both the technical and management activities in relation to the ISO17025 standard.
This included observing live testing and the review of documentation pertaining to all aspects of the business, contract reviews and a thorough inspection of how RFI conducts the work requested by customers in testing to the appropriate test standards.
RFI-Korea will shortly be adding a radiated spurious emissions chamber to the facility, to further enhance its testing services.
For the first time, customers in the region will have access to the Anritsu ME7873F, the Aeroflex 6401 AIME CT/ISHO and the SCAT 5020 application tester.
