RF Solutions has added a new variant to its range of PIC C compilers: the PCH is specifically designed for use with the PIC18 series of microcontrollers Based on original K and R, the compiler features numerous functions to make production of software coding in a high level, maintainable language both easy and fast

The PCH complements the three existing versions of the compiler; the CCS-PCB is designed for 12bit PICs (PIC12C50X and 16C5X) and the CCS-PCM for 14bit PICs (PIC16c61 92X).

The third, CCS-PCW, is a professional package that provides all of the compilers in a powerful Windows environment.

All four versions of the PIC C compiler have numerous built in functions to enable access to the PIC hardware; they are also able to integrate with MPLAB and other simulators and emulators to allow source level debugging.

Further flexibility is given by the inclusion of standard hex and debug files that ensure compatibility with all programmers.

Example programs are provided to give the user additional assistance.

RF Solutions has also included device drivers on all four compilers.

The CCS-PCW professional package has several extra features, these include, both professional and device editors, a new project starter feature and a hex dissassembler.

All versions include updates supplied via modem for a period of 30 days after purchase.
