Real-time emulator speeds PIC16F87X development
The latest real-time emulation hardware module from RF Solutions is designed to simplifythe development of embedded systems based on Arizona Microchip's PIC16F87X family of 8-bit microcontrollers
Low power requirements make the modules especially useful for use in battery-powered applications.
The RXQ1 is a basic RF transceiver, whereas the TRXQ1 is an intelligent modem transceiver incorporating the RF Solutions RF600T encoder/decoder controller.
Both versions are able to transfer data at up to 20Kbaud over a range of approximately 200m.
Working within the 433MHz frequency band, the modules can operate in two selectable narrowband channels: 433.92 and 433.33MHz.
Crystal control delivers stable performance that is far superior to competitive SAW-based wideband designs.
Both the RXQ1 and the TRXQ1 are housed in 18-pin, low profile ceramic DIL packages measuring 30.5 x 23 x 7mm.
The modules require a supply voltage of just 3 to 5V and are able to operate at between - 20 and +85C.
