WCDMA conformance tester switches to R and D
In addition to WCDMA conformance testing, the R and S CRTU-W from Rohde and Schwarz can now also be used for signalling tests in research and development.
Testers support new digital TV standard
Rohde and Schwartz produces both operating equipment and test instruments for new DVB-H digital TV standard.
As the measurement program runs directly on the audio analyser's built-in processor, an external control PC is not necessary.
The measurement program features an intuitive graphical user interface, making it easy to operate.
The graphical display of the measurement results includes zoom, cursor and scaling functions.
Measured curves can be saved and loaded for comparison purposes.
Limit curves can be user-defined or generated from measured curves.
Test data are stored in a database, which makes further processing very convenient.
Test protocols can thus be generated immediately or at a later time.
They include a user-defined selection of information about the DUT, equipment used, parameters and results.
The protocols can be saved as a PDF, DOC, XLS or RTF file.
However, users can also print them directly.
To automate test operations, test sequences can be assembled, edited, saved and started as often as necessary.
Moreover, the R and S UPV audio analyser provides all important basic functions of both audio analysis and test signal generation.
Measurements can be performed not only on complete hearing aids but also on electronic and electroacoustic components that are used.
The test system is therefore ideal for development and quality assurance purposes.
Furthermore, the R and S UPV-B41 option (I2S interface extension) allows users to feed digital audio signals to A/D and D/A convertors as well as to modules for digital signal processing, plus to analyse them. Request a free brochure from Rohde and Schwarz ...
