spectrum
Rohde and Schwarz covers all 449 test cases for UMTS published in Release 99.
Rohde and Schwarz is currently the only manufacturer of T and M equipment that completely covers all 449 test cases for UMTS published in Release 99 With the validation for the Global Certification Forum (GCF), the TS 34.123 signalling conformance test cases for WCDMA from the Work Items 10, 12, 15, and 17 now run on the R and S CRTU UMTS protocol test platform

In addition to WCDMA conformance testing, the R and S CRTU-W from Rohde and Schwarz can now also be used for signalling tests in research and development.
The GCF defines certain quality standards for manufacturers of mobile radio equipment and specifies a series of obligatory test cases for this purpose.
All basic test cases for UMTS-capable mobile phones are provided in Release 99.
For the R and S CRTU, the GCF has also validated a large number of test cases of newer releases for further features, eg Releases 5 and 6 for HSDPA and HSUPA.
Rohde and Schwarz has taken a leading role in the further development of new standards such as HSPA and MBMS and is reinforcing its top position with respect to validated test cases.
