Books bring comms testing up to date

First four books cover the topics of spectrum analysis, network analysis, UMTS and automatic measurement control.

Rohde and Schwarz has begun publishing its own range of books focusing mainly on special topics in test and measurement and communications engineering Available via the Rohde and Schwarz webshop or from any bookstore, the first four books cover the topics of spectrum analysis, network analysis, UMTS and automatic measurement control

All four books are available in English, and "Fundamentals of spectrum analysis" is also available in German, Italian and Spanish.

Besides English and German editions, "Fundamentals of vector network analysis" will soon be available in Chinese as well.

The books are written by Rohde and Schwarz experts who cover the latest in theory and practice based on their first-hand work at the forefront of research and development.

The two highly dynamic fields of test and measurement and communications engineering are evolving at a rapid pace.

As a result, news about the latest developments, methods and knowledge first appears as articles in technical journals.

As in the natural sciences, it is usually not until much later that the information is included in books covering the main principles and fundamentals.

Moreover, many specialised fields of electrical engineering suffer from a lack of such books, and so users confronted with cutting-edge tasks cannot find any pointers to solutions.

Rohde and Schwarz is making an effort to fill this need by offering a selection of up-to-date books. Request a free brochure from Rohde and Schwarz ...
