In addition to WCDMA conformance testing, the R and S CRTU-W from Rohde and Schwarz can now also be used for signalling tests in research and development.
Testers support new digital TV standard
Rohde and Schwartz produces both operating equipment and test instruments for new DVB-H digital TV standard.
The R and S FSG supports all the standards of the second and third mobile radio generation as well as current broadband technologies such as WiMAX.
Featuring a demodulation bandwidth of 28MHz, the spectrum analyser can handle the measurement tasks of the UMTS LTE mobile radio generation.
Its high dynamic range, a frequency range up to 13.6GHz, and the integrated vector signal analysis make the R and S FSG suited to the general analysis of digitally modulated signals.
It is suitable for use development labs, production lines, and as a reference for product verifications.
Measurement applications for internationally common standards such as GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000 1xRTT, TD-SCDMA, HSPA, Bluetooth, WLAN or WiMAX are available at the press of a button.
The R and S FSG is equipped with the same remote-control command set as all spectrum analysers from Rohde and Schwarz.
Users who already have instruments from Rohde and Schwarz will thus be able to integrate the new spectrum analyser into their test environments without additional programming effort, helping to keep operating costs low.
The R and S FSG is available with fequency ranges of up to 8 and 13.6GHz.
The spectrum analyser provides GPIB, LAN (10/100BaseT), and USB 2.0 interfaces and is also compatible with the LXI Class C.
For highly accurate determination of absolute signal powers, the R and S NRP power sensors can also be directly connected to the instrument. Request a free brochure from Rohde and Schwarz ...
