Miniaturised relays remain reliable
Rhopoint Components has two new miniature SIP relays from Coto Technology.
Rhopoint Components has two new miniature SIP relays from Coto Technology The small size of the 9011 and 9012 relays offers high board density, a factor that is complemented by hermetically sealed contacts to provide longer life spans

High-accuracy networks save on resistors
Dual resistor devices have a combined resistance range from 100R to 330K and are available in both 0805 and 1206 sizes.
As a result, the 9011 and 9012 are ideal for use in ATE (automated test equipment) and offer the high reliability required in test, measurement, and telecomms applications.
The 9012 has an internal magnetic shield, while on the 9011 it is external to allow either type to be mounted in close proximity without interference.
Both are available with coil suppression diode options to protect coil drive circuits.
They offer high-speed switching and high insulation resistance of 10Tohm minimum and 100Tohm, typically.
The 9011 is the smaller of the new SIP relays, measuring just 10.16 x 3.81 x 6.73mm.
It is mounted on a 2.54mm grid with a volume of just 40mm square, which is 65% less than competing SIPs.
The 9012's pins are also spaced on a 2.54mm grid.
The package dimensions, 10.16 x 3.81 x 10.16mm, are 47% smaller than competing SIPs, with a footprint of just 60mm square.
Despite its small size the relay retains the 10W switch rating of its larger counterparts.
Both the 9012 and the 9011 series are available with 5 and 12V coils. Request a free brochure from Rhopoint Components ...
