New from Rhopoint Components is the 9081 Spartan SIP reed relay from Coto Technology.
The new relay offers the same high performance as its predecessors, complemented by an alternative, industry standard, 5 x 10 x 5mm footprint, to provide additional spacing between the coil pins.
This alternative footprint allows PCB designers more flexibility in creating circuit paths.
The 9081 series relay can feature 5, 12 or 24V coils, with magnetic shielding options available to allow relays to be mounted in close proximity without interference.
It is also available with diode options to protect coil drive circuits.
The 9081 series has hermetically sealed contacts and provides higher speed switching than electromechanical relays.
The 9081 series is designed to provide cost savings in applications where economy is a factor, and is thus well suited for security, instrumentation and modem use.
The 9081 series has received UL/uCL recognition.
