High-accuracy networks save on resistors
Dual resistor devices have a combined resistance range from 100R to 330K and are available in both 0805 and 1206 sizes.
It is available in eight standard values from 10Mohm to 100Mohm, each with a tolerance of 1%.
The temperature coefficient is very low at +/-25ppm/C from +10 to +40C ref, to +25C.
This makes it ideal for CT scanning systems as well as process instrumentation and advanced measurement applications.
Another typical application is in low signal amplification circuitry designed to detect the very low signal levels generated by photodiodes or in ionisation detection.
This type CHR chip resistor can be used in photomultiplier, high gain amplification, or differential amplifier designs.
The device can also be employed as the input resistor in high impedance voltage division.
Custom versions of the CHR resistors are available for high quantity applications with resistances as high as 1000Mohm, higher voltage ratings, tolerances as tight as +/-0.25%, application specific tolerance and TC optimisation, and wire bondable versions for hybrid circuits.
