High Q for 3MHz thin-film chip inductors
The new HPL range of thin-film chip inductors operates at frequencies as high as 3GHz and is designed for use in such applications as cellular phones, telecommunications networks and filter circuits.
The new HPL range of thin-film chip inductors operates at frequencies as high as 3GHz and is designed for use in such applications as cellular phones, telecommunications networks and filter circuits These thin-film inductors have a Q factor of up to 50 at 1.5GHz, which is higher than most multilayer devices
Available in the range 1.0nto 15nH, this series of inductors has an excellent inductance tolerance down to +/-0.1nH.
The temperature coefficient of inductance is from 0 to 125ppm/C.
These devices only exhibit a 50C rise in temperature even when passing currents as high as 1A, and can handle currents of up to 1.8A The inductors are available in 0201 and 0402 sizes and, with a maximum height of just 0.4mm, they are ideally suitable for use in low-profile RF modules.
Samples are now available from Rhopoint Components.
