Reed relays speed to 10GHz
With a 10GHz -3dB roll-off point, two new reed relays from Rhopoint Components offer an ideal way for switching low-level RF signals, and high-speed logic.

Reed relays switch to high-speed logic
With a 10GHz -3dB roll-off point two new reed relays from Rhopoint Components offer an ideal way for switching low level RF signals and high speed logic.
All relays in this series allow the designer to switch or pass signals with wider bandwidth and faster rise times than alternative technologies: this of particular importance for mixed-signal IC testers.
The relay is available in two versions, one with a single switch element, and the other with four.
Both versions are available with either 3.3 or 5V coils as standard.
On the four-switch version crosstalk between channels is kept to a minimum by a combination of coaxial and magnetic shielding, giving and adjacent channel crosstalk of -25dB at 11GHz.
The single-switch version occupies 58mm2 of PCB space, and the four-switch version 140mm2. Request a free brochure from Rhopoint Components ...
