Rigel Medical has produced a special CD ROM to provide a virtual demonstration of the multifunction Rigel 277 Plus medical electronics safety analyser.

Rigel Medical has produced a special CD ROM to provide a virtual demonstration of the multifunction Rigel 277 Plus medical electronics safety analyser.

Specifically designed to test in accordance with all main industry standards, including IEC/EN60601-1, MDA DB9801 and IEC/EN61010, the Rigel 277 Plus can test medical equipment with multiple applied parts in a single test routine.

The demonstration CD ROM combines video streaming with high-resolution graphics to replicate user operation of the instrument using the integral QWERTY keyboard.

The interactive display provides full operational instructions, technical information and details of how test sequences are performed.

In this way the new CD ROM not only provides a comprehensive introduction to the product's performance and electromedical test capability, but also provides a valuable training tool to ensure that the Rigel 277 Plus is used to its maximum capacity, reducing overall test time.

This comprehensive tester offers manual, automatic and semi automatic operational modes and also allows complete user customisation of test options.

Other features include a large internal memory for the storage of test results, full barcode control of testing and a barcode label generator that uses an built-in barcode printer.

The Rigel 277 Plus offers dedicated measuring devices (body model) for both IEC60601 and IEC61010 and provides manual, automatic and semi-automatic test sequences to fully control and minimise the number of power-up and power-down delay times, thus speeding up the test routine.
