Rigel Medical has developed powerful new software dedicated to the efficient recording and management of electromedical safety testing records.

Rigel Medical, part of the Seaward Group, has developed powerful new software dedicated to the efficient recording and management of electromedical safety testing records The new Mediguard programme has been introduced to complement the Rigel range of safety snalysers and functiional testers used to verify the status of electrical medical equipment in line with international technical standards

A multiple database structure enables a complete safety records system to be created either manually or from the downloading of test results direct to the tester.

The software can be used to plan electrical maintenance schedules and retest information can also be uploaded from the PC-based programme into the tester as preparation for retest sequences.

Mediguard makes it easy to produce a comprehensive series of results and test data reports, including the documentation associated with acceptance testing for new or recommissioned equipment and for regular in service testing routines.

A special feature of the programme links an Acceptance Test directly to an Acceptance Record and all test reports generated by the software can be printed, saved to a file or transmitted direct to e-mail.

A unique presentational layout, equipment icons and dedicated setup wizard guides users through the programme and enables maintenance personnel and service engineers to set up the system to meet their own specific needs.

Mediguard is compatible with all Windows platforms and a special demonstration version is available for evaluation purposes.

When used in association with Rigel electromedical testers, the new software provides a completely integrated safety testing and data management system.
