links
Miniature PCB-mounting UHF radio transmitter module incorporates a code-hopping encoder with more than 4 billion unique codes.
The Radiometrix KTX2 is a miniature PCB-mounting UHF radio transmitter module with onboard code-hopping encoder designed to provide secure wireless control links in a variety of industrial/commercial applications Operating at 315, 433.92 or 434.42MHz, it offers a usable in-building range up to 75m or 300m over open ground

Narrowband modules provide more range
The TX2M and RX2M transmitter and receiver pair are now available from Radiometrix for both UK and European bands.
Each transmitter module is preprogrammed and unique.
The 32bit encryption level creates more than 4 billion hop-codes for security, and four control lines allow up to 15 user-defined controls to be transmitted.
Designed to be used with the company's KRX receiver-decoders, the KTX2 is a crystal controlled PLL based transmitter with 2mW RF power output (10mW version also available) in a module format allowing OEMs to integrate it into their customised remote controller.
The device is fully compliant with both EN300-220-3 and EN301-489-3 standards.
It can be employed in tasks such as automotive remote keyless control, building security, and unidirectional remote process control.
Its compact dimensions (36.2 x 15.2 x 4.5mm) and low power consumption (1uA current during standby or 8mA while transmitting, from a 3-6V supply) make it particularly attractive for use in battery-powered keyless remote control products. Request a free brochure from Radiometrix ...
