Signal consoles for optical/acoustic signalling
Rittal's new signal consoles give users up to five separate optical components joined together with a bayonet connection
Rittal completes its comprehensive range of products at the interface between man and machine with new signal consoles for optical and acoustic in-situ signalling.
Modern technology in industrial process control means machines, controllers and production lines are all vulnerable to breakdowns.
Rittal's new signal consoles give users the ability to identify messages and malfunctions quickly and from a distance so that prompt, targeted action can be taken before any major damage is caused.
The modular construction allows flexible configuration that simplifies stock control as there is no need to keep various preassembled consoles in stock.
Up to five separate optical components are joined together with a bayonet connection.
Electrical connection is made automatically and the last component in each case may be an acoustic alarm with continuous or pulsating tone.
Materials used are polyamide and polycarbonate and the system colour is black.
Signal lights are available in red, green, amber, blue and transparent with steady light, flashing light or stroboscopic light intervals.
Good all-round illumination is ensured with the special design of the internal prisms.
Lights available include LEDs (24 V AC/DC) and incandescent lamps (24 V, 230 V).
The lamps can be replaced in seconds, without the need for tools.
Various connection components and bracket adaptors are available for pedestal or wall mounting.
A special mounting component allows signal consoles to be used in conjunction with Rittal's support arm system.
