enclosures

In addition to the conventional areas of control in industry, ranging from traffic systems to shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and the motor industry, with the right accessory components, Rittal's TS8 enclosure can be transformed into a specialist in any discipline in next to no time.

Based on an ingenious symmetrical design and a new patented frame this new enclosure concept brings significant benefits for users in assembly, baying, machining and interior installation.

Virtually endless possibilities mean extra scope for planning, conception and implementation and the ability to cope with the constant changes in technology.

Where space is at a premium and enclosure components must be integrated into an overall system, comprehensive design features allow optimum use of available space.

Thanks to the symmetrical design the enclosures can be bayed without the need for an expensive intermediate frame.

Any configuration is possible - side by side, one in front of the other, in a corner, 'U' or 'T' arrangements - and both enclosures of the same and different depths can be combined with one another.

More innovative features include all-round access to the installed equipment, two levels for interior installation, automatic potential equalisation of rear and side panels and roof and gland plates, simple machining, flexible interior installation, guaranteed stability even with the maximum load, four-point door locking system and IP 55 protection.

Rittal's TS8 enclosures are equipped as standard with a mounting plate at the rear.

Care has been taken to ensure downward compatibility with the Rittal perfect panel system PS4000.

Existing installations can be extended with new enclosures and existing installation material can also be used in the new TS8 generation of enclosures.
