Rittal's new industrial workstations bring the desk into the factory, adding a new dimension to the interface between man and machine.

Rittal's new industrial workstations "bring the desk into the factory", adding a new dimension to the interface between man and machine.

The supporting floor enclosure provides storage space for production folders, writing utensils, tools and other appropriate equipment while the conventional controls such as keyboard, mouse and monitor are mounted on a work surface.

The basis of the industrial workstation is a modular under-table housing 600mm square, 900 or 1000mm in height with the sidewalls secured internally.

Based on the popular TS8 design, the internal frame is compatible with Rittal's TS8 range of accessories and the front can be constructed with special steel door, glazed door or drawer units.

A 38mm-thick work surface provides a good solid work area for the assembly of a monitor housing of the customer's choice.

If a floor-standing enclosure is not required a pedestal can be an alternative option, combined with a small worktop and a housing from Rittal's slimline Optipanel range.
