Rittal's innovative RiTherm system allows validation of cooling dynamics even before a particular system is built.

Rittal's innovative RiTherm system allows validation of cooling dynamics even before a particular system is built.

Consisting of a combination of thermal load boards and a thermal management system based on the CompactPCI architecture, this new product offers sophisticated and simple, evaluation and measurement of cooling in cPCI systems based on 6U boards.

Additionally, RiTherm evaluates power supply quality on cPCI backplanes.

The RiTherm load board is a concept that enables users to validate the thermal characteristics of their system before all PCBs are designed.

The load board is a 6U cPCI form factor instrumentation board that provides a resistive heating array, with sensors for temperature and airflow.

The RiTherm system consists of a 10U CPCI subrack equipped with two powerful hot swappable 12V RiCool blowers, a cPCI backplane, and a pluggable power supply.

The system is designed to accept up to 21 slots of front/rear mounted PCBs.
