Network enclosure needs just four screws to open
Rittal's RiBox is a 482.6mm rack mount or 448mm instrument case for network applications available in five standard depths ranging from 150mm to 350mm.
Assembly of the complete box is both simple and quick as just four screws hold it together.
The 482.6mm (19in) version has the front panel extended to provide the mounting ears, and a kit is available to enable a 6U Eurocard to be inserted and extracted easily where a single slot backplane is required.
To finish the enclosures, it is suggested customers use a plastic film overlay, either to the front panel, or to all surfaces.
Rittal can provide these as part of their customisation service, along with the cutting of holes in the front panel, design and mounting of backplanes, power and cooling into an integrated system.
Rittal has already made available a 1U single-slot and a 2U three-slot CompactPCI system, complete with rear I/O, power supply and cooling for immediate customer use. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
