Rack takes systems approach to power and
cooling

The PSR power system rack is a complete tailored solution to deal with the increasing demands made on enclosure systems.

The PSR power system rack is a complete tailored solution to deal with the increasing demands made on enclosure systems The system is claimed to set new standards in the provision of integrated solutions through space saving cable management, intelligent power distribution and liquid-based climate control concepts

Intelligent power distribution is achieved by power system modules.

The requisite modules can be plugged-in at the factory or alternatively retrofitted.

Cable management can be integrated into each vertical enclosure section.

Cut outs and cable supports provide protection against excessively small bend radii.

Rittal has also implemented the option of liquid cooling for processors, thereby extending the flexibility of the PSR.

The PCS power cooling system dissipates the heat directly at the generation point, ie the processor.

The infrastructure of the cooling circuit is integrated into the frame profile of the PSR to maximise enclosure space.

Complete system control is provided by the Rittal CMC (computer multi control).

This ensures the highest level of operating reliability for both power and climate management.

The power system rack uses the vertical multifunction sections of the new flexRack(i) system platform, to accommodate the power distribution, cables and the cooling medium.

Rittal configures the modules to customer specification by means of a checklist, providing a complete solution, which can be commissioned on a "plug and play" basis. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
