PMC front panels keep screens complete
PMC front panels made from extruded aluminium or die-cast zinc help combat difficulties encountered by system designers when using PCI Mezzanine Cards.
Rittal has developed two alternative PMC front panels made from extruded aluminium or a zinc die-casting, to combat difficulties encountered by system designers using a PCI Mezzanine Card (or PMC) to add features or memory to VME and CompactPCI plug-in cards Both panels (often referred to as bezels) use a proprietary shallow square groove around their periphery to retain an EMC gasket
Two gasket styles are offered - carbon-impregnated elastomer or stainless-steel garter spring.
The panels or bezels can be provided with cutouts, printing or engraving to customer specification, thus saving process time as well as reducing cost as a single order covers multiple operations.
To complete the PMC package, Rittal offers a passivated stainless-steel blanking plate to cover unused openings in carrier board front panels and maintain electromagnetic compatibility. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
