New standard for IT racks
Rittal reckons it has developed a completely new standard for IT racks with an evolutionary addition to its successful Flexrack product range.
Rittal reckons it has developed a completely new standard for IT racks with an evolutionary addition to its successful Flexrack product range.
The concept of the new Flexrack (i) is an innovative multifunction profile with system duct, which can be used for cabling, power supply and/or cooling water supply, without loss of inner enclosure volume.
The new 19in Flexrack (i) is available in heights ranging from 11 to 47U, widths of 600 and 800mm and depths ranging from 650 to 1050mm, which facilitate arbitrary baying on all levels, even around corners, and upwards when conditions permit, Cable management options provide the highest level of flexibility.
Cables can be laid vertically in the frame section, or horizontally positioned through the additional space, which is created via adaptors for the rear door.
The two-level principle provides further flexibility in depth and enables a cascade method of cable management to be employed.
The Flexrack (i) can be equipped with the Rittal PSM power system module.
A power rail is integrated in the multifunction profile, on which individually fused power supply modules can be mounted.
Rittal's PCS power cooling system, a liquid-based climate control concept, dissipates heat directly at the point of generation, ie the processor, with silent operating reliability.
Two system packages are available, which comprise a cooling circuit distributor for 20 or 40 CPUs, connection components and a mini recooling system.
This can also be integrated via the multifunction profile.
For the first time the CMC (computer multi control) and access control can be directly integrated in the enclosure without loss of height units.
After removal of a panel the enclosure can accept the appropriate preconfigured and cabled equipment.
