As part of its kiosk enhancement programme Rittal has added a banknote validator system to its list of accessories The product is a perfect match for kiosk solutions from Rittal and ideal for the UK market, as it readily copes with different designs of the same denomination banknotes

Available in either horizontal or vertical mounting configuration, the validator is designed for easy installation and can be integrated into Rittal kiosks either directly in the kiosk housing or alternatively in a "payment post".

The stepped "smiling mouth" allows insertion of notes with one hand and simplifies the note handling mechanism.

Validation is based on an optical reading system with top and bottom note scanning, together with single note escrow for security.

Integral anti-finishing (stringing) devices prevent mechanical fraud and the device can be set for either high security or high acceptance.

Currency data can be changed using PC based currency management software.

Interfacing the validator is simple, with the choice of parallel open collector outputs, pulse stream output, or SSP secure serial communications. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
