Versatility, cost effectiveness, maximum security and scope for expansion are the perfect features offered by Rittal's new TS8 enclosure system.
Aluminium covers are available either perforated with a matrix of 4mm holes for ventilation, or solid.
The solid versions are particularly useful for systems where cooling air is designed to flow from the front at the bottom, up though the PCB area and out at the rear at the top of the subrack.
EMC covers, available for various depths of subrack as well as for quarter- and half-width models, have side folds with raised "half shears" or "bobbles", which provide an interference fit with the subrack side plate.
The "half shears" further provide retention of the cover after installation as they align with the standard hole pattern along the upper and lower edges of the side plates.
Side folds also include recesses for horizontal rails to accommodate standard Euroboards of 160, 220 and 280mm.
Simple construction and assembly allows the covers to be easily retrofitted following internal installation in the subrack. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
