Rittal has extended its range of air-water heat exchangers to include units of 5 and 7kW that are designed for use from a 230V electrical supply.

For mounting on the roof or wall of electrical enclosures, the units are equipped with modern electronic safety devices including condensate and leak sensors as well as a collective fault signal.

If any component stops functioning the raise in temperature will trip the overtemperature alarm.

Incorporating only two working parts, a solenoid valve to regulate water and a fan unit to circulate cool air, the protected body maximises reliability in temperatures up to 70C.

Both versions have been constructed using high-airflow fan units to increase enclosure air change rates, and a new advanced cooling circuit to assure high cooling power even with low water flow rates or higher water temperatures.

Supplied with accessories to allow external or internal mounting the units, accompanied by a multilingual installation manual, the units are stocked comprehensively within the UK and are available of the shelf for immediate delivery.
