"Solutions for AdvancedTCA" is a guide that will assist designers of converging communications equipment to select products quickly and easily from the AdvancedTCA range.
Rittal Electronic Systems has published a "Solutions for AdvancedTCA" guide to assist designers of converging communications equipment to select products quickly and easily from the AdvancedTCA range.
The guide contains details of PICMG3.0 based carrier grade shelf units; shelf managed cooling with a 200W per slot capability, power entry modules, backplanes and a range of fully compliant faceplates and air management accessories.
Also included is advice on the choice of backplanes with up to 16 slots (for ETSI and 23in shelf units) and both bussed and radial IPMI (Intelligent Peripheral Management Interface).
Information is also included for the selection of shelf management controllers (ShMCs).
