Master-slave system for uniform cooling
Rittal has launched its next generation of enclosure cooling units.
This range is ideal for users who have a small number of rack servers with total heat dissipation not more than 3kW.
With a capacity up to 3kW, the range allows five or six servers, depending on type, to be cooled in ambient temperatures of up to 35C.
The TopTherm units can be mounted on the rear of racks and stand alone.
Easily integrated into the existing network the units are fully microcontrolled with fault diagnosis allowing the user to display the rack used-air temperature as well as all signals from the simple controller touch panel and three-digit display.
Using the software package RiDiag II, the performance of the cooling unit can be analysed at all times to reveal early warning signs including system starts, number of instances of over temperature alarm or the frequency the rack door has been opened.
The systems are available off the shelf in standard RAL 7035 but can also be coloured to match the requirements of any existing application. Request a free brochure from Rittal ...
