A new planning tool, RiGetIT for RimatriX5 is billed as the total solution for data centres.

Rittal has expanded its range of planning tools with RiGetIT for RimatriX5, billed as the total solution for data centres.

The new software will assist in the quick and safe configuration of modern IT infrastructures ranging from small and medium IT planning applications through to large scale data centres.

RiGetIT will ease workloads and provide maximum help from the design of the climate control, UPS and power distribution systems, through to security systems and IT rack configuration, complete with plausibility checks.

The user is automatically and logically guided through a catalogue of questions and can gather all the appropriate modules without performing a laborious search through the product catalogue.

The result is a professionally planned infrastructure that can be depicted in a graphic IT room plan diagram.

Individual product selection is possible and comprehensive technical information on the Rittal products, as well as product data sheets, can be obtained.

The software also highlights all detailed part lists to produce individual offers.

One special feature is the interface to the RiWatchIT software.

With this interface, the IT room plan and the part lists generated can be edited immediately in this remote management software.

This saves valuable engineering and programming time and also provides the basis for the centralised management system for the RimatriX5 IT system.
