Recooling systems ensure central cooling
A new recooling series offers a ten-stage 4 to 150kW performance range.
Rittal has released a new recooling series, developed as a module of RimatriX5 the integrated solution for data centres, which offers a ten-stage, 4 to 150kW performance range.
Recooling systems from Rittal ensure both central cooling and the provision of water as a cooling medium.
A pressure-closed system and integrated components such as a pump monitoring system, offer high-energy efficiency.
Additional security can be provided with peripherals such as a more powerful pump, a separate buffer memory or backup cooling fed with water from the municipal water supply.
To ensure that cooling output is provided even in an emergency, Rittal offer a number of options.
These include the use of a double pumping set, a twin-condenser or two independent cooling circuits, distribution of the cooling output over two separate units or connecting a third, partial redundant unit.
Full redundancy can be achieved by using a second recooling system with full operational scope that can be switched on in the event of a disturbance.
By using a series-connected freecooling unit, part of the process heat can be transferred directly to the outside air thereby reducing running time and therefore costs.
The process heat that arises during the cooling procedure can then be converted to useful energy by using heat recovery techniques.
