RJS Electronics reckons its range of programmable LCD switches are arguably the best available on the market The switches have been the market leaders for both red-green-yellow and RGB versions in the UK by offering the best contrast and colours available for this form of technology

The problem of wobble and overall springy tactile feedback associated with this technology has been an issue for some potential customers in the past, according to Rick Sucher, MD of RJS.

Now, however, the switch is offered not just with superior contrast, viewing angle, even LED colour arrangement but boasts an excellent positive tactile feedback on operation and now minimal side-to-side movement.

The switches have fought off competition from other manufacturers and remain the primary choice for the LCD programmable switch technology even before the changes due to their history of reliability and build quality.

The RGB switch is becoming a firm favourite with new designs taking on board the available colours, including pure green, white and purple being used extensively.

Applications such as broadcast mixer desks, video master controllers, camera routers, air traffic control, telecomms and automotive are typical.
