POL regulators meet military demands
Miniature point-of-load regulators are designed for main power units and integrated circuits in a wide variety of military and avionics applications.
Specialist defence and aerospace industry supplier Roband Electronics has developed a new miniature POL (point-of-load) regulator for main power units and integrated circuits in a wide variety of military and avionics applications With an output of 0.8 to 3.3V at 5A and a 5V input, Roband's POL regulators have a military temperature range of -55 to +125C
The product is just 20 x 25 x 8mm and weighs only 12g, with a variety of different pinout configurations.
Designed to give optimum vibration support, it has a machined aluminium enclosure and is encapsulated for maximum environmental protection.
Efficient to 90%, it is overload-protected.
