Rohm Electronics has launched a family of miniature chip resistors for applications where space is limited and where precision operation is required across a wide temperature range.

Rohm Electronics has launched a family of miniature chip resistors that is ideally suited to applications where space is limited and where precision operation is required across a wide temperature range The new MCR03 precision thick film rectangular chip resistors are supplied in 1608 (0603) packages with dimensions of just 1.6 x 0.8 x 0.45mm

Resistance values are between 100ohm and 1Mohm.

Resistance tolerances are either +/-5 or +/-1%.

Devices have a power rating of 0.063W and a temperature coefficient of +/-50ppm.

Delivering fully rated performance to 70C and offering an extended operating temperature range of -55 to +125C, the MCR03 resistors are rated for a maximum continuous working voltage of 50V and a maximum overload voltage of 100V.

Dielectric withstand voltage is 300V.

The new devices are supplied in tape-and-reel format for ease of use with modern, high-volume PCB manufacturing systems.
