Resistor array puts eight in an SM
package
The MNR18 chip resistor array from Rohm simplifies circuit design and reduces component count by integrating eight resistors with values up to 1Mz into a single, miniature surface mount package.
The MNR18 chip resistor array from Rohm simplifies circuit design and layout and reduces component count by integrating eight resistors with values up to 1Mz into a single, miniature surface mount package Ideally suited to damping in digital circuits, the MNR18 chip resistor array effectively integrates eight conventional 0402 resistors into a 16-pin IC-style device with dimensions of just 3.8 x 1.6 x 0.5mm

White LED driver IC lights up cellphones
Rohm has launched a device that will simplify the design of mobile phones requiring full colour backlights by delivering the increased voltages and driving functionality demanded by white LEDs.
Resistance values range from 10ohm to 1Mohm and all devices have a tolerance of +/-5%.
Rohm's MNR18 is rated for a maximum continuous working voltage of 25V per element and is designed to operate across an extended temperature range from -55 to +125C.
Supplied in tape-and-reel format, the MNR18 resistor array features a solder-plated, convex electrode design that significantly simplifies board assembly by aiding mounting alignment and preventing the formation of solder bridges during reflow.
