The latest series of LDO linear regulators from Rohm are compact devices designed for low voltage applications requiring high accuracy.

Combining a low dropout voltage of 0.3V with maximum output current ratings of 1A, the latest series of LDO linear regulators from Rohm are compact devices designed for low voltage applications requiring high accuracy Rohm's new LDO regulators offer typical output voltages between 2.5V and 1.5V at 1A Load and output voltage precision to within plus or minus 2%

Built in output current and thermal protection circuits ensure protection against short circuits and thermal break down.

Available in fixed and adjustable output voltage options, the new LDO regulators will accept input voltages between 3 and 16V.

A standby current down to 0uA ensures the lowest possible power consumption when the devices are inactive.

In addition, the devices withstand a surge voltage of 50V for 200ms, which is important to automotive customers.

The new devices are supplied in TO252-3/5 packages and can operate at temperatures between -40 and +85C.
