Tracking applications make use of Maps
A developer package is based on the world's smallest GPRS GPS module and assists system integrators in the development of compact and inexpensive tracking systems.
Radio modules can be programmed with Python
Easy-to-program SMT-compatible radio modules ease design of location-enabled equipment.
The 3.5G module supports UMTS and HSDPA connections and is parallel compatible with Edge.
Tried and tested GPRS technology is used in the 2G module and is, so to speak, the younger brother of the 3.5G module.
The third module offers coverage of both 800 and 1900MHz CDMA bands in 3G technology.
All modules are controlled via a compatible AT instruction set and support TCP and UDP.
Various multiband antennas are already included in the starter kit.
In addition, Round Solutions supplies lithium polymer rechargeable batteries, SIM card holders, microphones, plug connectors, loudspeakers and HF cables with the kit.
This package provides developers with all necessary components for prototyping.
An online portal is available to customers for the realisation of tracking systems, for example.
The Track4free server is based on Google maps.
It enables worldwide GPS location, free of charge.
Prerequisite for the use of the online platform is a functional GPS device that can transmit geodata via HDCSD, GPRS, Edge or UMTS.
After registering at Track4free, the user is shown examples of a map that delivers position data as well as a great deal of additional information.
This is supplemented by comprehensive documentation of the movement of the device.
Users can register up to two applications per account.
A further portal is available for telemetry applications.
The starter kit with the three wireless modules is available now directly from Round Solutions. Request a free brochure from Round Solutions ...
