Rapid's expanded range of products from Universal Science updates the choice of thermal pads and accessories available to the design engineer of today.
The T-Pad 6000 series takes thermal pads to the next level, offering 5W/mK of thermal conductivity.
It offers 6000V of electrical isolation and is intended for transferring heat from electronic devices to heatsinks and cold enclosure walls.
This product is suitable for use in power conversion, automotive, aerospace and motor drive applications.
It is available from Rapid in 356 x 406mm sheets (38-3058) and precut pads for TO-220 (38-3060) and TO-3P (38-3062) packages.
UniPutty 1800 is a high thermal performance putty alternative to grease.
Its 1.8W/mK thermal conductivity is derived from its thixotropic properties.
Applied with a 30cm3 syringe (Rapid part number 38-3074), its thixotropic properties allow it to fill all air gaps and provide a perfect conductive path between the electronic devices and heatsink or chassis wall.
It is ideally suited to cooling digital signal processors, power LEDs, wound components and DC/DC convertors.
For the ultimate thermal performance, UniGrease 3800 offers 3.8mW/mK conductivity.
Contact surfaces are wetted out and microscopic air pockets inherently present are eliminated.
It will never dry out or harden and will continue its performance for the life of the product.
It is ideally suited to cooling power conversion devices, digital signal processors, power LEDs and microprocessors.
UniGrease 3800 is available from Rapid in a convenient 30cm3 syringe, Rapid order code 38-3076. Request a free brochure from Rapid Electronics ...
