Fastron's high-quality inductors and suppression coils are now available in the UK in low volumes.

A new range of high-quality inductors and suppression coils is available now from Rapid Electronics following the company's appointment at the UK's first distributor for Fastron The new partnership will facilitate the supply of low volume orders and sample quantities to a wide range of customers, who can expect high levels of service

Rapid offers same-day despatch and free delivery on orders over GBP 25.

Engineered in Germany, Fastron components are produced in countries with low labour costs, and so are competitively priced.

The company guarantees high quality parts and an ever-expanding product portfolio to satisfy fast-changing engineering needs.

Fastron's production sites conform to ISO/TS16949, enabling them to play a major role in the automotive market.

Other applications include wireless products and power supplies.

A selection from eight new Fastron ranges are now in stock and available to buy through Rapid Electronics.

Customers can choose from a selection of axially leaded inductors and suppression coils, supplied in small quantities or bulk orders taped in ammopacks, reels and boxes.

With many uses, these components are particularly suitable for decoupling, interference suppression, RF blocking and filtering.

Every item in the inductor range is made of ferrite material, has high Q values, a tolerance of between 5 and 10%, and operating temperatures from -55 to +125C.

The ferrite-based suppression coils run on high rated current, feature low DC resistance, a tolerance of 20% and operating temperatures from -55 to +125C.
