A Rubycon product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Dec 10, 2002

The new Rubycon Technical Centre is a state-of-the-art six-storey building that amalgamates the results from research, design and development.

Playing a pivotal role in the development of Rubycon's cutting edge technology, the new Rubycon Technical Centre is a state-of-the-art six-storey building that amalgamates the results from research, design and development in conjunction with key resources such as information technology, computer and security systems, all specially developed to enhance the working environment.

These attributes coupled with the natural beauty of the Japanese Alps or the Cypress (Hinoki) Forests, all within view from the workplace add emphasis to the Rubycon ideology that "Grand ideas come from a good environment".

Within a 19,000m2 location with some 8500m2 of floor space, the facility was opened in April 2002.

However, the transition of the company's many departments has just been completed.

From the core aluminium electrolytic, through plastic film to multilayer film techniques, advancements in processes and products will continue to keep the Rubycon brand at the forefront of capacitor technology.

The new R and D centre will play a key part in the future success of Rubycon.
