Franchise expands to cover Italy

Rutronik has a presence in Italy with eight branches and a 55-strong sales team.
In addition to Germany, the Osram franchise extends already to the Benelux countries, France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and Eastern Europe.
The portfolio includes all design-in products such as Golden Dragon LEDs, OLEDs, high-power laser and intelligent displays.
"The expansion of the Osram franchise to Italy confirms once again our far-reaching commitment and our strategically significant investment in this key market", says Thomas Rudel, Sales and Marketing Director at Rutronik, commenting on the expanded co-operation.
"We're already receiving numerous enquiries from Italy about Osram products".
"As early as this year, we want to generate sales with Osram in Italy from design-in activities and derivative projects".
Central product marketing in Ispringen is supporting the rollout of the Osram line in Italy intensively.
Among other things, joint customer calls with Osram OS are planned in order to adequately establish the products in that market.
All across Europe Rutronik offers its customers a well-rounded, comprehensive spectrum of active, passive and electromechanical components.
The central focus is on personal consultation and support for customers in the development phase of an end product.
In doing so, Rutronik offers its technical expertise not only at the product level but at the application level as well.
As primary technical contacts, field application engineers (FAEs) advise and support customers both in-house and in the field, from regional sales offices as well as from branches in Germany and all over Europe.
