The latest addition to the popular PCI product line from Sealevel Systems is the Ultra Comm+2.LPCI, a dual-port low-profile PCIbus serial I/O adapter.
The SeaDAC PLC-16H provides eight SPDT high-current Form C relays that can directly switch up to 6A loads at 250V AC and 100V DC.
Additionally, eight nonpolarised inputs can monitor 5-30V DC and provide optical isolation to protect the host computer and other sensitive equipment from voltage transients and ground loops that are common in industrial environments.
For connecting I/O, removable terminal blocks are standard, enabling fast, versatile field wiring.
For easy software integration, application programs or third-party software can use Sealevel's SeaMAX library or industry standard Modbus protocol.
A variety of helpful diagnostic utilities and sample programs are included.
SeaDAC modules are housed in rugged, attractive plastic enclosures and include a highly-retentive USB type B connector to prevent accidental disconnection.
Standard operating temperature range is 0 to 70C and extended temperature range (-40 to +85C) is optional.
The SeaDAC PLC-16H, part number 8232, is priced from $299 in small volume quantities and product is available immediately from stock.
