Adapter adds serial comms options to PC/104
Sealevel Systems has expanded its PC/104 product line with the SIO.104+2, a dual-port RS232/422/485 interface adapter.
Serial adapter fits both PCI slots
The latest addition to the popular PCI product line from Sealevel Systems is the Ultra Comm+2.LPCI, a dual-port low-profile PCIbus serial I/O adapter.
For maximum flexibility, ordering options allow connection to a host computer via wireless Ethernet (802.11b/g), wired Ethernet, RS485, USB or RS232.
15 I/O configurations are currently available offering Reed and Form C relays, optically isolated inputs, TTL interface to industry standard solid-state relay racks, A/D and D/A functionality, and RS232/422/485 serial connectivity.
Multiple units of any I/O type can be easily daisychained together using convenient pass-through connectors.
This expansion capability enables a network of SeaI/O modules to be controlled with even a traditional point-to-point USB or RS232 host connection.
For easy software integration, application programs or third-party software can use Sealevel's SeaMAX library or industry standard Modbus protocol.
Field removable terminal blocks are standard, enabling fast, reliable field wiring.
The modules operate from 9-30V DC, and power can be input via terminal block or DC jack.
Each SeaI/O-OEM board includes metal standoffs for easy mounting in any enclosure or cabinet.
Standard operating temperature range of SeaI/O-OEM modules is 0 to 70C, and extended temperature range (-40 to +85C) is optional.
SeaI/O-OEM prices start at US $239 and product is available immediately from stock.
