The cost- and time-saving range of customised products from Sarel, a brand of Schneider Electric, has now been extended to include polyester enclosures in both wall- and floor-standing models.

The amount and type of customisation is exactly matched to the user's requirements, but can, for example, include ready-made cutouts, assembly of kit-type enclosures, the addition of EMC protection features, and pre-fitting of mounting items, such as baseplates and rails.

Customised enclosures from Sarel, which are also available in mild- and stainless-steel types, are a particularly attractive and cost-effective choice where more than five identical or very similar boxes are needed.

The new polyester types are proving particularly attractive for use by the telecommunications industry, and in outdoor applications where their versatility, robust construction and total immunity to corrosion are important benefits.

Sarel's customised polyester boxes are available in sizes from 310 x 215 x 160mm to 1250 x 1000 x 300mm.

Mounting plinths, root pillars, canopies, thermal management equipment and, for the smaller sizes, transparent doors are among the large range of accessories which can be supplied either separately or ready-fitted.

Complementing the new polyester range, Sarel mild-steel and stainless-steel customised enclosures are offered in four principal ranges: small boxes with lids attached by bolts, wall-mounting enclosures, individual floor-standing enclosures, and suites of floor-standing enclosures.

Between them, these ranges cover enclosures from a tiny 80 x 80 x 30mm, to multi-bay suites with cubicles up to 2200 high x 1200 wide x 800 deep.
