Designed specifically to house cabling, terminations and patch panels associated with voice and data networks, these new enclosures are offered with a choice of fixed or hinged frames for mounting 19in racks.

CaSys OPB enclosures are available in five sizes with heights from 350 to 883mm, providing from 7 to 19U of rack space in fixed-frame versions, or 6 to 18U in hinged-frame versions.

A choice of 400 or 500mm depth is also offered for each size of enclosure.

All enclosures in the new CaSys OPB range feature full-size removable gland plates at the top and bottom, and are optionally supplied with a removable rear panel, all of which are ideally suited for accommodating cable glands.

Cable entry can, therefore, be readily arranged from the top, bottom or rear, or any combination of these.

The hinged, removable side plates and the front doors of the enclosures all open a full 180 degrees, ensuring unimpeded access to the enclosure interior.

Additional key features include rear uprights which are predrilled to facilitate wall mounting, internal attachment points for brackets and supports, and slots in the upper and lower front face to aid natural ventilation.

CaSys OPB enclosures from Sarel are manufactured from heavy-grade sheet-steel, and are offered, as standard, with a durable RAL5015 finish externally, and a similar RAL7035 finish internally.

The enclosures can be supplied fully assembled, ready for immediate use, or in the form of compact flatpacks which reduce storage space requirements.

OPB enclosures are compatible with an extensive range of CaSys accessories, including supplementary uprights, patch panels and shelves.
